Back in 2020, on a whim, I was fascinated by others making beautiful handcrafted furniture. I did my search bought some tools and go to work. I instantly fell in love. I'm fascinated by using only my hands and tools to create one of a kind pieces of art and furniture to become part of peoples homes.
Each piece is designed to fit the space and according to your requests. I start with a consultation to find out what you're looking for. Then, I can send you design sketches, and we'll work together to finalize a design you love. Then, I get to building!
Jones Creative Works, LLC Customer Policies
Jones Creative Works, LLC hereafter referred to as JCW
Priority: When placing the order, customers may ask for prioritization of their product for an extra fee. This fee is 20% of the total cost of the order. JCW may refuse priority based on our current project load, the size of the order being prioritized, the date the customer needs the item to be completed, or other factors. Unless the order is prioritized to be done by a specific date, any time estimates given to the customer about completion are approximate and are not to be interpreted as promises of completion date.
Deposit: Customer agrees to pay 50% of the total quoted cost (minimum required) in advance for us to start the build. The customer acknowledges and agrees to this being non-refundable. If the customer chooses to walk away, at any time after paying the 50% deposit, they will not receive the deposit back. The maximum refund that will be allowed is 50% of the total quoted cost. Any order under $150 would not have option for deposit, but would receive full refund if not to client liking. If JCW chooses to discontinue business with the customer before the project is completed, JCW may choose to refund the deposit. JCW reserves the right to refuse service to anyone or discontinue service at any time.
Scheduling: If the customer sets a time to meet with JCW for any reason and is more than 30 minutes late to their scheduled appointment, they will need to reschedule. If the customer needs to reschedule before the time of their appointment, at least 1 hour notice is required.
Pickup/Delivery: When JCW messages the customer to inform them that the product is finished, the customer has 5 business days to pick up the item. After 5 business days (our business week is Tuesday through Saturday), the customer will be charged $25 per business day that the item sits in our shop.
Warranty: After the customer has received the product, they have 7 business days to report any issues with the product. If problems are bought to our attention, we will do what we can to fix those things that were asked to be fixed.
If the product was originally picked up by the customer, they will be asked to drop off and pick up the item for repairs. We can pick up or deliver for an additional fee. If we delivered the product to the customer, when it was first completed, we will cover pickup and delivery costs for repairs within that 7 business day period.
Post Warranty Repairs: After those 7 days, repairs will be provided at an extra fee, starting at $100.00, depending on what needs to be fixed/replaced. Pickup and delivery are also available for repairs after the 7 days, for an extra fee, depending on where the item will be located at pick up and/or delivery. Refunds will not be allowed past 7 business days after the customer first receives their finished product.
Liability: JCW in not liable for damages to people or property because of modifications, improper use, incorrect transportation by the customer, or installation errors.
Refund Damage Fee: Photos will be taken of the product before it leaves the shop. If the customer decides to return the item for any reason, 10%- 25% will be deducted from the refund for any major damages to the product while it was in the customer’s care. Normal wear and tear will not be included when evaluating the damage fee.
